The Deadlands is Mehrunes Dagon's realm of Oblivion. It serves as the primary location for The Deadlands DLC.
The realm is connected by portals to Fargrave, another plane of Oblivion.
The zone has three roaming sweeper bosses known as Havocrel Executioners.

One of the Points of Interest required for Zone Completion (The Bathhouse) is found in Fargrave.

- Wretched Spire — A hidden settlement in the Deadlands, inhabited by mortals and Daedra. (map)

- Ravaged Crossing — A jagged mountain pass located in the center of The Deadlands. (map)
- The Tempest Engine — A strange Daedric device located in The Deadlands. (map)
- Traitor's Ascent — A set of stairs located in The Deadlands. (map)
One of the Set Stations required for Zone Completion (Forgotten Feretory) is found in the Shambles in Fargrave.
- The Razorworks — A crafting site located in The Burn for crafting the Deadlands Demolisher set. (map)
- Stormwright's Cleft — A crafting site in the Sever for crafting the Wretched Vitality set. (map)
- The Abomination Cradle — The lair of the mantikora Taupezu Azzida. (map)
- Den of the Unmaker — The lair of the Unmaker and its havocrel companions. (map)

- Atoll of Immolation — A section of the Deadlands accessible from Oblivion Portals in Blackwood and the Deadlands. (map)

- Fort Grief — An abandoned Legion fort on an island in Niben Bay. (map)

- Deadlight: Invade a lost realm of Oblivion that serves as Sister Celdina's headquarters.
