"The realm of Hermaeus Mora is a sprawling archive stacked from its very roots to the top of its towering shelves with the shadow of mortal knowledge. It is a certain death sentence for those who cannot stop themselves from turning the page."—From Studies in Apocrypha by Morian Zenas

NotesEdit

  • The Daedric text written around the zone on the Aurbis map translates to THE REALM OF APOCRYPHA ETERNAL LIBRARY OF HERMAEUS.
  • Apocrypha was first mentioned in The Doors of Oblivion and first appeared in Dragonborn.
  • The cut quest "Devotees of Knowledge" for Apocrypha's Gate was intended to involve a gate to Apocrypha, where you would throw a Diadem of Memories filled with knowledge taken from Dagon's Dremora into Apocrypha for Mora to analyze.
