Style Materials are secondary materials required when crafting armor and weapons. The type of material used will determine the style of the equipment you create, although your character must first know how to craft in that style. Some style materials have an unrefined form, ten of which can be combined into one complete piece.
Any style material has a chance to be dropped when you deconstruct an item in that style, the following table list the other sources.

Once your character learns at least one chapter of the Mercenary motif, Laurels will begin dropping from the final bosses of Group Dungeons. For Veteran dungeons, this chance starts at 50% and increases to a guaranteed 100% once all chapters have been learned. The chance for Normal mode bosses is one quarter of that.
