The Ancient Elf Style is a crafting skill that can only be learned by reading the book Crafting Motif 11: Ancient Elf Style which requires Rank 7 in Blacksmithing, Woodworking or Clothing to read. Crafting Ancient Elven items requires Palladium. Like all styles, it is purely cosmetic. Items will have the same stats regardless of the style you use.
It was available in the Crown Store from (?) to August 14, 2017.

Maormer StyleEdit
This article is about the Maormer variant of the Ancient Elf Style. For the style used by Maormer in Summerset, see Pyandonean Style.
Armor and weapons obtained for sets in Tempest Island are designated by the game as being part of the Maormer Style, which uses slightly different coloring and different icons, but it is essentially a reskin of the Ancient Elf style and will drop palladium when deconstructed. The Maormer Style uses different icons:
