Dark Elvish[1] (also known as the Dunmer Language,[citation needed] Dunmeri,[2] or Chimeric)[UOL 1] is the language spoken by the Dunmer of Morrowind. The language is derived from Ald Chimeris, which was spoken by their Chimer ancestors from the early First Era.[UOL 2]
