  • Refreshing Path is a recommended morph for the Nightblade Initiate, Living Shadow, and Blood Magus builds.
  • Path of Darkness and Refreshing Path create a rectangular area of effect. Twisting Path creates an approximately 60 degree cone.
  • Enemies will see a highlighted border along the sides of the area of effect. This is not visible to allies.

    • Developer Comments: The goal of this change was to ensure there was an interesting choice between morphs. You can choose to either have more damage, or add a heal component.
* Twisting Path: Increased the damage of this morph by approximately 11%
* In an effort to reduce the visual effect noise in group combat situations, we've hidden most visual effects from persistent damaging area of effect abilities cast by your allies. Area of effect abilities that have a synergy, healing, or defensive component that can benefit you will still be visible, and area of effect abilities cast by enemies will also still be visible.
  • Twisting Path: Fixed an issue where this morph was not being considered a damage over time effect.
* Fixed an issue where some of the visual effects from this ability and its morphs were not aligned with the actual location of the path.
* Reduced the damage and healing done by this ability and Refreshing Path morph by approximately 5%, and reduced the damage done by the Twisting Path morph by approximately 9%.
* This ability no longer deals damage. It now grants Major Expedition to you and your allies on the path, and for up to 2 seconds after leaving it.
  • Twisting Path: This morph now adds damage. The damage value is the same as what is currently on Live.
  • Refreshing Path: This morph now adds healing. The healing value is equal to the damage value of Twisting Path.
    • Developer Comment: This change to Path of Darkness is aimed at helping each class bring something unique to the party.
* Twisting Path: Decreased the damage per tick of this ability by approximately 14%.
  • Refreshing Path:
    • Fixed an issue where this ability could heal you twice per tick after the first heal applied.
    • Increased the healing per tick by approximately 29%. Note the heal will be stronger than Twisting's damage potential, because Twisting also gains increased area coverage.
* Twisting Path (morph): Increased the damage per tick of this morph by approximately 50%.
* Fixed an issue where the visual effects from this ability could persist longer than intended.
