They were originally just a Bosmer tribe, but after many years of constantly fighting the Khajiit Dakarn clan across the border, they overstepped and raided Arenthia. Along with the Dakarn clans attempt at organized crime in Dune, the citizens of both cities finally resolved to deal with these marauding bandits. They formed militias and hired mercenaries to clear out the hills where the bandits lurked. Ironically both groups survived in part but turned from banditry to legal jobs. The Vinedusks became the Rangers, while the Dakarn became the Duneguard Outwalkers.
