Detailed WalkthroughEdit

This quest is only available during the Year One Celebration. To start this quest, you will need to accept it via the Crown Store or find a note entitled A Quest of Sand, Snow, and Blood at one of the following Event Exchanges:

You will be given four tasks, which will require you to travel to Craglorn, Wrothgar and the Imperial City. You will need to visit a Striking Locale and kill either a Delve boss or a Group Boss in Wrothgar, participate in any Group Event in Craglorn, and defeat any boss in the Imperial City. Note that Imperial City is a PvP zone and you must be at least level 10 to visit.

Once you have completed your four tasks, you will need to speak to Philius Dormier at one of the aforementioned Event Exchanges. He will have nothing to say to you prior to completing your tasks, but once you return he will greet you warmly:

"Oh, my friend! You have the ruffled look of one who has been on a great adventure, and, I say this with great respect, you smell like you've been dragged through a sewer. You've been visiting strange lands in accordance with our notice, haven't you?"
Yes, I visited Craglorn, Wrothgar, and the Imperial City.
"I thought so! Well, you've come to the right place. The Impresario asked me to compensate such enterprising explorers with a suitable reward. Here you are! I trust your continued adventureas will take you to equally rich and fulfilling frontiers!"

Although it's not repeatable, this quest counts as a daily for the purposes of the event. You will receive either a Glorious Year One Coffer (if it is your first repeatable quest of the day) or a regular Year One Coffer in addition to gold and XP. However, you will not get an event ticket from completing this quest.

NotesEdit

  • Both the bosses in the Imperial Sewers and in the distrcts of the Imperial City counts towards the completion of the quest

Notes
* Any text displayed in angle brackets (e.g., <Alias=LocationHold>) is dynamically set by the game and will be filled in with the appropriate word(s) when seen in game.
  • Not all Journal Entries may appear in your journal; which entries appear and which entries do not depends on the manner in which the quest is done.
  • Stages are not always in order of progress. This is usually the case with quests that have multiple possible outcomes or quests where certain tasks may be done in any order. Some stages may therefore repeat objectives seen in other stages.
