Gonfalon Palace is a giant castle dominating the northwestern portion of Gonfalon Bay. The palace separates itself from the rest of the city with its own set of walls and high location, with the main level of the palace grounds sitting above most of the city. There are numerous Systres Guard patrols throughout the grounds, and many people enjoying or tending to exterior of the palace.

ExteriorEdit
Two guards keep watch on the battlements, one near both entrances. Two guards, one on foot and one mounted, patrol the length of the palace grounds. One final guard stands watch near the palace on the level below the Gonfalon Palace main entrance. Starting from the northern entrance, Iameesh can be found reading next to the battlements. Continuing along the battlement will take you to Dulph playing the lute and Mai posing or dancing for tips. Continuing along the wall until its end will take you to a garden area dominated by a central tree, with Hizjoahna fanning herself on a bench. The servant Thegb will either be tending to her or doing inventory of a delivery near a lower entrance to Gonfalon Palace secured by an advanced lock. The southern wall opening to the palace features a small garden along the steps, with Peverel Suluelle studying the plants and a butterfly enjoying them.
Going up the steps towards the main entrance will lead you to a level with a large fountain in its center. Rigurt the Brash may be found here, needing help with his latest shenanigans. Zoellene Ruqueville wanders around this area, and Colinanwen is skulking about in the grassy area here. There is a door in the defensive walls here, but it is secured. The main entrance itself is located up three more flights of steps.

Main EntranceEdit
The interior is a well decorated sitting area divided across two floors, with you entering on the lower of the two. Besides the door you just went in, there are four exits here. Two are secured, one leads to the Gonfalon Palace Tower and is secured by an advanced lock, and one leads the banquet hall. The door to the tower is directly across from the entrance, and the banquet hall is along the right wall from the same location.
Bur-Mema is located on the lower level waiting area, near a copy of the Guide to the Daggerfall Covenant. Siminence Armene is reading in the other sitting area on this floor. A Systres Guard maintains watch over this location.
The walls leading to the upper floor are covered with paintings portraying various Gonfalon Bay sites, as well as chivalric tapestries. Edona Bargeron is the sole person located here, wandering across the area. A safebox with a master-level lock is located along with right-side wall as you go up the stairs here. Besides the safebox, there is no notable loot to be had here.
Banquet HallEdit
The banquet hall is a large open space prepared for entertaining multiple guests. By default, there is no one present in this location. There are multiple doors leading deeper into the palace here, but they are all secured. Like the other public area of the palace, there is no notable loot to be pilfered here.
Gonfalon Palace TowerEdit
You can pick the advanced lock in the main entrance to enter a private section of the palace. The first area you enter is the center of the multi-level tower, with the servant Bihanabi working here. a hiding spot is located next to the central pillar. Going higher will take you to a barracks currently being cleaned by Onri Coulon. Beyond a few containers that can be searched for loot, there is not much else of note here. Going down instead takes you to a kitchen, with the staff member Natultare present. A hiding spot is located beneath the stairs, and a luxurious safebox secured by a master-leveled lock is of interest to thieves.
A hallway connect to the kitchen here, with a Systres Guard patrol. A convenient hiding spot in the center of the hallway facilitates avoiding the guard. The other end of this hallway ends with a second kitchen, with a door leading back outside.
