< Shivering Isles
Map of the Shivering Isles

There is a large variety of places in the Shivering Isles (or the Realm of Sheogorath, as it is displayed in-game). The isles, a worldspace added by the Shivering Isles expansion, are accessed through A Strange Door on an island in Niben Bay.

This page only lists some of the most interesting locations in the expansion. Other places are listed on the following dedicated pages:

  • Bodies of Water — The two seas surrounding the isles.
  • Buildings — Noteworthy buildings.
  • Crystal Chests — Mysterious containers found throughout the isles.
  • OB-mapicon-Door.png Homes — NPC residences.
  • Inns — Inns, taverns, and other places that rent beds.
  • Obelisks of Order — Mysterious pillars central to the main quest.
  • Regions — Geographical regions of the Shivering Isles.
  • Roads — Roads, both marked and unmarked.
  • Unmarked Places — Points of interest not marked on the map.

Note: The Shivering-Places category provides an index of all places in the Shivering Isles.

For places in Cyrodiil, see the Oblivion Places page. You can return to Cyrodiil through the Door to Cyrodiil in The Fringe, where you emerge again at A Strange Door.

MapsEdit

The UESP's Shivering Isles map can be used to locate all of these places. Most of the individual place pages include map links that center the map on that specific place. See maps for other available maps of the Shivering Isles.
