Redguard stories say that when the Ra Gada first arrived on these shores, they found Nilata still inhabited by Elves. Having fought the Lefthanded Elves on Yokuda for a thousand years, wherever the newcomers found Elves in Hammerfell, they exterminated them.

The Nilata Ruins are Ayleid ruins located in southern Bangkorai, north of Hallin's Stand. The ruins are overrun by giant spiders.
Captain Gemelle is located south of the ruins, in a Seventh Legion camp up the hill just off the road leading to Hallin's Stand.
A large tent is located west of the captain, and a copy of Septima Tharn's Leadership Maxims is sitting on a nightstand within it. Caesonia resides within this tent. A chest can spawn down the hill south from Captain Gemelle, next to a campfire.

Nilata Ruins Wayshrine is located to the east of the ruins near the lake, south of the entrance to the Sunken Road.

- The spiders in the outside of the ruins will become Neutral after the spider daedra commanding them has been slain during the quest.
