Dual Wield is one of the six weapon skills available in Elder Scrolls Online. You can advance through this skill line by equipping two One-Handed weapons.

LearningEdit

The Dual Wield skill line is granted the first time you kill an enemy with two weapons equipped. You can increase your skill by engaging in combat with two weapons equipped, or by having Dual Wield skills slotted. The more skills you have slotted, the faster your skill will increase. Dark Elves are naturally gifted at Dual Wielding, and will learn the ability more quickly than other races. In addition, you can earn free levels in the skill line by reading Skill Books, which may be found randomly on bookshelves anywhere. The skill books which increase Dual Wield are:

Dual Wield has an associated skill line that is revealed through use of a One-Handed weapon in each hand. Known abilities are listed below. Notes

  • The numbers displayed here are the base values for the skills. Magicka/Stamina Cost is based on a character of Level 50 Champion Points160. Damage values are based on Max Magicka/Stamina 7958, Max Health 8744, and Weapon/Spell Damage 1037. The actual numbers you see in the game may depend on a variety of factors, including skill line rank, your equipped weapons and armor, other skills, enchantments, etc. As such, they should only be used as a comparative reference.

Slash enemies in front of you, causing them to bleed for 19052 Physical Damage over 8 seconds and healing you for 50% of the damage done. Each enemy hit increases your damage done by [3 / 4 / 5 / 6]% for the duration. This effect can stack up to 6 times.

Fire a secret dagger from your sleeve that bounces up to 3 times to nearby enemies, dealing [4763 / 4816 / 4869 / 4921] Physical Damage per hit. If enemies hit are casting they are interrupted, set Off Balance, and stunned for 3 seconds. You also gain Major Brutality, increasing your Weapon Damage by 20% for 20 seconds.
ON-icon-skill-Dual Wield-Flying Blade.png Flying Blade Reactivate a second time to jump to the enemy, damaging them and granting you Major Brutality.
Fire a secret dagger from your sleeve at an enemy, dealing [3812 / 3854 / 3895 / 3938] Physical Damage and marking them for 5 seconds. If the enemy hit is casting an ability they are interrupted, set Off Balance, and stunned for 3 seconds. While an enemy is marked, reactivating this ability on them allows you to jump to them, dealing [3812 / 3854 / 3895 / 3938] Physical Damage and grants you Major Brutality, increasing your Weapon Damage by 20% for 20 seconds.

Passive abilities are active all the time, so long as two one-handed weapons are equipped.

50 2 (WHILE DUAL WIELDING) Grants a bonus based on the type of weapon equipped: Each axe gives your melee attacks a 8% chance to bleed enemies for 1086 Physical Damage over 6 seconds. Each mace causes your attacks to ignore 10% of an enemy's Physical Resistance. Each sword increases your damage done by 3%. Each dagger increases your Weapon Critical rating.
