Detailed WalkthroughEdit

Creating Claw Ash

DeclawingEdit

At your Alliance Rally Point in the Temple District, you will find an elderly Khajiit priestness named Sister J'Reeza. She is desperate to protect the Temple's treasures, and plans to turn to unorthodox methods to magically protect them from the Daedra. To do this, she wants to collect claws from the patrolling Grievous Twilights and use them to place dangerous wards on the artifacts.

The first step of this quest involves collecting four Grievous Claws by killing Grievous Twilights. Each Twilight drops two claws, so you'll only need to kill four. Some of the Twilights can be found patrolling the district alone, although others pass by large groups of enemies and may be dangerous to take on alone. Once you have eight, you'll need to find a Bottle of Ritual Wine. This item is located in a fixed location, and should be approached carefully if enemy players are around.

Protect the ArtifactsEdit

After collecting the ingredients, you must bring them to a ritual brazier. Again, this location is fixed and may have enemy players lurking nearby. Activating the brazier will produce Claw Ash, which must then be used to anoint three canisters of consecrated oil. These items are scattered throughout the district, and this step will place you in direct competition with other players.

Once you've protected three of the treasures, return to your Alliance base (either through the sewers or through respawning/teleporting) and locate J'Reeza near your Alliance General. She will reward you with leveled gold and a Light Tel Var Satchel, and will hint at the grim fate that awaits any Twilights who attempt to harm those artifacts.

I've cast the ritual on the artifacts I could find in the Temple District. I should return to Sister J'Reeza in my Alliance base and let her know.

  • Not all Journal Entries may appear in your journal; which entries appear and which entries do not depends on the manner in which the quest is done.
  • Stages are not always in order of progress. This is usually the case with quests that have multiple possible outcomes or quests where certain tasks may be done in any order. Some stages may therefore repeat objectives seen in other stages.
