Sirilonwe

Sirilonwe is an Altmer nightblade found in the Vivec Guild of Mages, which is located in the Foreign Quarter plaza. She is in possession of Chimarvamidium, a valuable book that Edwinna Elbert wants you to steal and which she keeps in a locked chest near her. Sirilonwe wears an extravagant robe and a matching pair of shoes. Furthermore, she carries twenty drakes with her.

If you are a vampire she will send you to kill Shashev, making her a gateway to Eltonbrand. If you successfully complete that quest she will send you to gather some vampire dust for her research projects.

    • "How did you... I mean where did you get a copy of Chimarvamidium? I've been looking for this book. Perhaps you'd be willing to part with it?"
      • Give her the book.: "Thank you. I won't forget this. Just a suggestion... Keep quiet about this book, %PCName. Some members of the Mages Guild can be very jealous."
      • Keep the book.: [Disposition -10] "That is most unfortunate, %PCRank. I thought you would be willing to assist a fellow Guild member."
  • latest rumors: "The Dark Brotherhood is ready to make their move on the Morag Tong. I hear the Night Mother herself has come to Vvardenfell."
  • Trebonius: "I don't care what he asked you to do. The best thing for all of us is to ignore that Scuttlehead. Last year he asked me to learn the language of the Silt Striders so we could question them about who they took to different cities."

Shashev's KeyEdit

Despite her evident loathing of vampires, Sirilonwe has a task that she will only ask you to perform for her if you are one:

  • "Though I find your kind abhorrent, you can serve a purpose for me. I wish to have someone killed."

    • "Yes. I need to have a rival eliminated, but I don't wish to be directly involved in the affair. His name is Shashev, and my informants tell me he is at the Ald-Skar Inn in Ald'ruhn. Kill him for me, vampire, and return with his key."

If Shashev is already dead when you first mention the topic "someone killed" to her, she will be impressed, although she will insist that you also get his key for her if you have not done so yet:

    • [If you have Shashev's key in your inventory. Shashev's Key has been removed from your inventory.] "You've already killed Shashev, Dark One? Well done indeed. And it is good you brought me the key as well. If you are still looking for something to do, I require some vampire dust for a spell I'm researching."
    • [Else.] "You've already killed Shashev, Dark One? Well done indeed. But I need his key from him. Get it for me."

Otherwise, you will need to speak with Sirilonwe again after the deed is done in order to wrap up the quest (or not, if you failed to bring back the key which Sirilonwe covets):

    • [Else.] "He is dead, but you do not have his key! Stupid creature. I need that key if I am to gain access to all of his research."

If you mention the topic "someone killed" again after you have completed the quest, Sirilonwe will say:

  • "My rival is dead by your hands."

Dust of the VampireEdit

After you have finished Sirilonwe's first task, she will present you with a second and final one:

  • vampire dust
    • "I need three portions of vampire dust for a spell I am currently researching. You may be able to find it in the shops of finer apothecaries or alchemists. I would prefer it to be fresh, though. Straight from a vampire."

If you already have three units of vampire dust in your inventory when you first discuss the topic with her, she will be more than happy to take them off you straight away:

  • vampire dust
    • [3 Vampire Dust has been removed from your inventory. Amulet of Gem Feeding has been added to your inventory.] "You already have it? That's fortunate. How many of your own kind did you have to kill for that, lifeless creature? Still, I need it, and I will reward you. Take this."

Else, speak with her again after you have collected the three portions of vampire dust for her to finish the quest and claim your reward:

  • vampire dust
    • [3 Vampire Dust has been removed from your inventory. Amulet of Gem Feeding has been added to your inventory.] "Ahhh...you've gotten them for me. Excellent. Did you have to kill many of your ilk for my benefit? Take this as payment, and leave my sight."
    • Goodbye.

If you speak with her again (before curing your vampirism, should you intend to do so), she will say:

  • "I have nothing further about which I wish to speak to you."
