Collect a rare alchemy ingredient for Elynea Mothren.
Quest Giver: Elynea Mothren
Location(s): Tel Mithryn Apothecary
Prerequisite Quest: Healing a House
Reward: Variable amount of gold
ID: DLC2TTR8

Elynea needs some rare ingredients.

Quick WalkthroughEdit

  1. Speak to Elynea Mothren in the Tel Mithryn Apothecary.
  2. Find the rare alchemy ingredient she requests.
  3. Return to Elynea.

Detailed WalkthroughEdit

After completing the quest Healing a House, speak to Elynea Mothren in the Tel Mithryn Apothecary and she'll request that you bring her a particular rare alchemy ingredient.

The ingredient she requests can be one of the following: briar heart, daedra heart, giant's toe, hagraven claw, vampire dust, or void salts. Once you have collected the ingredient, return to Elynea for your reward.

Elynea's DialogueEdit

Ingredient Dialogue before Dialogue after Reward
Daedra Heart Well, I could use a daedra heart. Can't grow that in my garden. It's a bit dried up, but it will do. Here. 350 gold
Giant's Toe Hmm. I'm running out of giant toes. I'll pay extra for one. A bit ripe, isn't it? Here. Take this. 100 gold
Hagraven Claw As a matter of fact, I need a hagraven claw. I'll pay extra if you find one. Nasty bitches, aren't they? Here's your fee. 100 gold
Vampire Dust How about some vampire dust? Bring me some of that and I'll pay handsomely. Not bad for an amateur? Take this. 100 gold
Briar Heart You got a briarheart? That's what I really need. Neloth keeps taking all of mine. You could have cleaned it. It's still bloody. 100 gold
Void Salts You find some void salts and you bring them to me. I'll beat anyone else's price. Hmm. Better than average quality. I'll take it. 200 gold

NotesEdit

  • If you already have the ingredient in your inventory when Elynea gives you the quest, you can immediately give it to her and complete the quest without exiting dialogue.

100 Finishes quest
  • The following empty quest stages were omitted from the table: 50, 75, 110.
Notes
  • Any text displayed in angle brackets (e.g., <Alias=LocationHold>) is dynamically set by the Radiant Quest system, and will be filled in with the appropriate word(s) when seen in game.
  • Not all Journal Entries may appear in your journal; which entries appear and which entries do not depends on the manner in which the quest is done.
  • Stages are not always in order of progress. This is usually the case with quests that have multiple possible outcomes or quests where certain tasks may be done in any order. Some stages may therefore repeat objectives seen in other stages.
  • If an entry is marked as "Finishes Quest" it means the quest disappears from the Active Quest list, but you may still receive new entries for that quest.
  • On the PC, it is possible to use the console to advance through the quest by entering setstage DLC2TTR8 stage, where stage is the number of the stage you wish to complete. It is not possible to un-complete (i.e. go back) quest stages, but it is possible to clear all stages of the quest using resetquest DLC2TTR8.
