Detailed WalkthroughEdit
Eviction NoticeEdit
When your bloodline requires your assistance, they contact you:
- A pale, wild-eyed boy hands you a letter and then disappears into the darkness.
Check your inventory for the letter. It is from your vampire family and reads:
-
-
-
- (building)
- (town)
-
-
- Dear (player's name),
- (Bloodline) need you.
- Come immediately.
-
-
- Yours in death,
- (Vampire's name)
-
-
Head to the town named in the letter's address. Enter the building and speak to the vampire within, who says:
- "Honored (player's name), good evening. The ancients of (bloodline) are to meet shortly in (region), but as if in mockery, a group of lycanthropes have set up residence in (dungeon), where the ancients plan to convene. Pray, show these vermin and others of their kind that (dungeon) belongs to (bloodline) and we will tolerate no trespassers. Kill as many of them as possible, including their leader, a wereboar. Return back here with one of his tusks in (time limit) nights time and (bloodline) will be most grateful. Fare thee well."
Trounce the TrespassersEdit
Head to the named dungeon and enter it. Be wary, in addition to the normal dungeon monsters, you will be stalked by the wereboar's werewolf allies once inside. You will know if you have found the wereboar leader as it squeals when hit:
- "Don't make me kill you, bloodsucker. Go back and tell (bloodline) that (wereboar's name) sent you home because you didn't play nice."
Kill it. When the lifeless body of the wereboar drops to the ground, following message pops up:
- "You have slain (wereboar's name), the lycanthropes' leader. They will now know better than to trespass in a stronghold of (bloodline)."
Search the corpse to find a wereboar's tusk. Break it off and return to your vampire contact to complete the quest.
RewardEdit
When you return with the wereboar's tusk, the vampire will be delighted and say:
- "I salute you, slayer of werebeasts. Your bloodfather will be very pleased to hear about the efficiency of your extermination. Keep (wereboar's name)'s tusk as a badge of honor among (bloodline)."
