Tribunal talk:The Museum
Main Quest Ruined?Edit
If you sell all the items on the list and progress the main Tribunal quest, will you be unable to get the Nerevarine Blade Piece in the shield, since you have nothing to Donate? Lucky the Cat Guy. 16:44, 27 April 2009 (EDT)
Can't Give Items?Edit
I have quite a lot of artefacts that are on the list, but the topics are not showing up in the curator's dialogue. I have already given a few, but there are no more topics. Is the a console command I can use? Sk8r2000 13:06, 10 June 2009 (EDT)
Uhh???Edit
Is anyone gonna put that if you go in, sell/donate artifacts, kill Torasa Aram and the High Oridnators then take the artifacts back you get to KEEP them? they dont get taken away by guards of anything though Stendarrs Hammer still does --Flamingburrito666 23:00, 10 October 2009 (UTC)
Journal EntryEdit
As stated, the quest entry never leaves our journal. However there is no need to have the entry at all. When talking to Torasa Aram simply avoid the topic 'Mournhold Museum'. You can finish the main quest and sell as much or as little as you like without any 'quest' appearing in the journal.
- Is this true ?
-
- Just tested this, absolutely works. As long as you have one of the items she'll buy then she'll have the topic for it and you can sell it without having to interact with anything else. ParadoxPraxis (talk) 19:36, 12 June 2020 (UTC)
Reworking Notes Section?Edit
I would like to edit part of the notes section. As it stands now, it says:
- Certain artifacts mentioned in Tamrielic Lore, such as Scourge, Fists of Randagulf, or the Ring of Khajiit, cannot be sold to Torasa.
- Despite the Masque of Clavicus Vile appearing in the book Famed Artifacts of Tamriel, you cannot sell it to Torasa.
It seems redundant to mention both books when they list the exact same artifacts, do so separately, and to list only items that appear in the book but aren't accepted, when it is equally noteworthy that there are items that are accepted but do not appear in the book. I would like to change it to something like:
- Although Torasa Aram references the book Famed Artifacts of Tamriel for the artifacts the museum is interested in, the actual list is quite different.
-
- Auriel's Bow, Auriel's Shield, the BiPolar Blade, the Boots of Blinding Speed, the Dagger of Symmachus, the Mace of Slurring, the Robe of the Lich, the Ten Pace Boots, and Veloth's Judgement are all accepted by the museum, despite not being listed in the book.
- The Ring of Khajiit, the Masque of Clavicus Vile, Scourge, Mehrunes' Razor, the Fists of Randagulf, the Ring of Surroundings, the Mentor's Ring, the Ring of the Wind, Denstagmer's Ring, and the Daedric Crescent are all listed in the book, despite not being accepted by the museum.
That would be complete, not an arbitrary few selections, and would avoid redundancy, but may be quite a bit long for the notes sections. Alternatively, it can be reworded to something like:
- Although Torasa Aram references the book Famed Artifacts of Tamriel for the artifacts the museum is interested in, the actual list is quite different.
-
- There are nine artifacts the museum will collect that aren't listed in the book, such as Auriel's Bow, and there are ten artifacts listed in the book that the museum will not collect, such as the Daedric Crescent.
This option does have a few arbitrary selections, but mentions both sides of the "the book isn't accurate" coin, and is more concise.
Any thoughts? Is there a reason I'm not seeing for the notes section currently being the way it is (i.e. it is not "arbitrary" after all, I'm just missing something)? If it is agreed this should be changed for consistency/clarity/completeness, which of those is better, or something else entirely? I personally favor the complete list, though I understand why it may not be the preferred solution. Justeazy (talk) 01:00, 9 May 2024 (UTC)
