Quick WalkthroughEdit
- Pick up the quest at Reacquisitions Board.
- Retrieve the old Sailor's Pipe from Shark's Teeth Grotto.
- Return to Spencer Rye to complete the quest.
Detailed WalkthroughEdit
A sailor has lost his pipe. He's come to Spencer Rye's good old lost and found and asked for someone to go find it.
After receiving the assignment, you can head to the Shark's Teeth Grotto which is located in the southwestern part of Hew's Bane. The No Shira Citadel Wayshrine is the closest to the Grotto. Once inside Shark's Teeth grotto you will need to fight your way north through the docks and head into the stone passage which leads to old ruins. Once you reach the chamber containing the boss, walk through the eastern passage until you reach the Suicide Cliff, a small camp atop the cliff face which has some Wake Walkers hanging around. Deal with them and pick up the Sailor's Pipe which can be found amidst some bottles on a rug.
Head back to Abah's Landing and talk with Spencer Rye who can be found in his little "office" near the Cistern.
- "You look like you've been in a right scrap. If you've lost any teeth I can always post a bill!"
- I found the old sailor's pipe.
- "Ha! You did! May not look like much, but it'll make a world o' difference to the old hand. Funny how objects take root in a body, after so long they just seem to become part of a person.
Here's your pay, as promised."
He will then pay you some gold and you will gain more reputation among the Thieves Guild.
NotesEdit
- When first introduced to Rye's Reacquisitions, you will receive this quest directly from Spencer Rye in the Thieves Den.

- Stages are not always in order of progress. This is usually the case with quests that have multiple possible outcomes or quests where certain tasks may be done in any order. Some stages may therefore repeat objectives seen in other stages.
