The Wake Walkers are a group of pirates named, as is usually the case, for their ship, the Wake Walker, that are active in the region of Hew's Bane. They are led by Captain Dolorion and First Mate Rodros.
They have invaded Shark's Teeth Grotto, taking control of it from its previous occupants, the Shark's Teeth, in search of valuables and a legendary creature to give as tribute to the commodore, a person who seems to control many pirate gangs.
