Death Hoppers are giant, carnivorous frogs that can be found in the swamps of Blackwood. They are typically green, but can also be black.

- Bite
- A basic melee attack dealing low physical damage.
- Poison Spit
- A basic ranged attack dealing low poison damage.
- Tongue Lash
- The death hopper pulls its target to itself with its long, sticky tongue, indicated by a long red rectangle, dealing low physical damage and stunning briefly. This ability is used when standing both far and closer to it.
- Toxic Leap
- The death hopper jumps away, creating a burst of toxins in its wake, indicated by a red circular AoE, that deals moderate poison damage and knocks down affected targets. This however doesn't deal any damage to those standing where the death hopper leaps to.
- Acid Pool
- When standing further away, the death hopper spits up a pool of acid, indicated by a red circle, which deals continuous low poison damage. This can be interrupted to set the death hopper off-balance.
- Swamp Gas
- The death hopper lays down on the ground and explodes, indicated by a large red circle, dealing high poison damage. (Dark green death hoppers at Old Deathwart's Pond)
- Fetid Spit
- The death hopper spits poison at three separate targets, dealing moderate poison damage. (Oaxiltso fight-specific)
