Faran Hestarius is the son of Hlofor the Arctic Bear, leader of the Raiders. He has been sent to Fort Flecia to search for the Dread Helmet (see Shadows in a Struggle for Power).
Faran wears a noble cuirass and boots, drakefired gauntlets and greaves, a Hestarius Family Crest Shield, and a black and red cloak. He is armed with a noble mace and carries various potions, gold and silver nuggets, a large amount of gold, and orders from his father.
