Anice Derielle is a Breton commoner residing in Firewatch. She evades her taxes to such an extent that Census and Excise officer Gilara Renus considers getting her to do so to be within the realms of a "minor miracle". This falls to you to achieve in the quest, Render unto Tiber. Anice for her part appears to have expensive tastes and little wealth to speak of - while living in the poorest part of the city, she is not shy about laying out a small fortune on clothing at Fedrin Adlan's store.
Anice appears to be a close friend of the knight, Helrus Jeral, and it is in the pursuit of this friendship that Helrus leaves his post on the fateful night that the Drakelight Beacon supposedly goes out. It is the investigation of this event that features heavily in the miscellaneous quest, Out of Order.
She wears a common shirt with matching skirt and shoes. She wields an iron dagger and carries 9 gold.
Aside from her natural bonus and resistance to magicka, and her ability to shield herself for short periods, she knows no spells.
On the wall shelf opposite to her bed, there is a diamond hidden under a wooden cup. There is little else of note in her house.

DialogueEdit
Imperial Cult: Render unto TiberEdit
- Greeting:
- "Do you have any news regarding my outstanding order?"
- minor miracle:
- "Pay my taxes? Well, you see, I'm somewhat... indisposed, financially, at the moment. I owe some money due to an outstanding order, and I can't exactly pay my dues to the Empire with a debt to one of its fine citizens still looming, now can I?"
- "I already told you, I really don't have the money to pay my taxes at the moment. Now, if you picked up that outstanding order for me then it might be a different story."
- "I promise that I'll pay what I owe the Census and Excise office, and that I'll pay my taxes on time from now on."
- outstanding order:
- "As you can see, I have an unusally petite figure. It requires exact tailoring to get clothes that show me in my best light. My clothier here in Firewatch, Fedrin Adlan in Vaynth Quarter, just put the finishing touches on a new dress for me, but I simply don't have the means to pay for it right now. The Imperial Cult excels at charity, right? Perhaps you could pick it up for me? With that debt cleared, there won't be anything stopping me from paying the taxes I owe."
- "Do you have my dress from the clothier? I fear that I really can't pay my taxes without it."
- Yes.:
-
- "Really? Oh, thank you, %PCName, thank you! It fits me perfectly, and it looks even more fabulous than I imagined! I have plenty of money left over, as well. I promise that all of it will go to paying what I owe the Census and Excise office, and that I'll continue to pay my taxes from now on." - "If you were to pick up that outstanding order for me from the clothier, I'd have enough money left over to pay the taxes I owe. Don't the Divines smile on charity?"
- "Thank you again for helping me, %PCName. This new dress is a lovely fit, and gorgeous to boot! Don't I look amazing in it?"
If you convinced her to pay her taxes without picking up the dress:
- "I hope you're happy with yourself. I'm a taxpaying citizen again, and I look just as drab as ever."
