Gilara Renus is an Imperial noble who runs the Census and Excise Office in Firewatch. She happens to one of the Imperial Cult's wealthiest donors in town, although she does not always grant her largesse without a request for payments in some other ways. In the Imperial Cult quest, Render unto Tiber for example, Gilara asks that before she makes her payment, you first enact a minor miracle by getting the recalcitrant Anice Derielle to pay her taxes.
