Malielle Masoriane is a Breton Vampire of the Quarra Clan.
What Malielle lacks in devotion to the clan and Volrina's legacy, she more than makes up for with her ability to use her business acumen and underworld contacts to support the clan. That doesn't mean she's ready to desert the clan when the situation becomes dire, as demonstrated by the fact that she has stayed with them for over two hundred years as they have declined since Volrina's death. At the end of the day, she has placed all her bets on the Quarra being able to turn their situation around, and she will rise or fall with them.
BackgroundEdit
In her mortal life, Malielle was a cutthroat businesswoman who grew up watching the backstabbing political games endemic to High Rock's nobles. This prepared her for when she was turned by a Quarra while on a business trip in Vvardenfell, so joining the most brutal vampire clan on the island was an easily accepted lifestyle choice. Ever since, she has served as the clan's connection to Tamriel's criminal underworld, providing them with resources and information they wouldn't be able to acquire anyway else in exchange for assistance with her dealings.
Malielle evacuated Vvardenfell along with the rest of the Quarra, traveling to Solstheim and later Skyrim at the invitation of the Volkihar Clan. In the relatively short time they've been operating from Pinemoon Cave, she has solidified relations with numerous local contacts and established herself a player in the province's criminal underworld, in addition to the tasks she organizes for the clan.

A Spy in SolitudeEdit
Jelkar will send Malielle to aid you in the catacombs, but she will leave you to the task of hunting down the Vampyrum agent while she meets with a business contact in the city. Once you return to Quarra Lair, she will tell you that she caught wind of someone suspicious leaving the Winking Skeever's rented room shortly after you both arrived to hunt down the spy.
Hunter, HuntedEdit
Malielle has discovered that the independent vampire hunters who have recently been targeting the clan are being directed to do so by a man named Weylin Lothaire, who has been staying at the Silver-Blood Inn in Markarth. Once Weylin is dead, his journal will reveal that he was manipulated by Restita Berne to send hunters against the Quarra after encountering her in Varstaad Cave on Solstheim. Malielle will send you to to wipe out the Berne leadership and any members found at the cave, knowing that Jelkar will reward her if you succeed.
