The hidden entrance to the Aetherium ForgeDG can be found here.

Related QuestsEdit

This location is used by three (two without Dawnguard installed) bandits as their camp. Due to the ruin's proximity to Rift Imperial Camp, the bandits and soldiers often engage each other. There are arches at the northern and southern ends of the camp with hanging bone chimes. Between the arches is a stone-floored area with several crates, barrels, and sacks. A third arch to the southeast leads up to the statue containing the machinery to gain access to the Aetherium Forge. Near the northern end are wooden stairs leading up to an adept-locked wooden chest, some crates, a barrel containing ingredients, and a food sack. A Dwemer Convector, used for Arniel's Endeavor, is behind the wall to the north between the two arches.

With Dawnguard installed, a tower can be raised after finding all four Aetherium Shards during Lost to the Ages. It gives access to the Aetherium Forge.

  • One corundum ore vein is east of the circular area.
  • Without Dawnguard installed, some hanging garlic braids and pheasants can be harvested here.

  • Although the bandits aren't supposed to respawn at this location after Dawnguard is installed, the bandits can still respawn even with the add-on. ?
