"Built on a cliff overlooking a bend in the Karth River, Karthgad rests within the Vorndgad Forest, the secluded backwoods of Midkarth. It is home to the proud Bear Clan, a distrustful group that doesn't entertain strangers. They reside in their den in the center of town. Thane Gorvrda's mead hall is on the eastern side. Otherwise, we're just a bunch of hunters, trappers, and woodsmen. Follow the road west to Karthwasten and north to Fenbru and Dragonstar." - Reach Guard
Karthgad is a town in the Vorndgad Forest Region which appears in Skyrim: Home of the Nords, one of the Project Tamriel fan-created mods for The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind. The town is ruled by Thane Gorvrda, who resides in her namesake Mead Hall. The town has one trader owned by Ywain, and one smithy owned by Bjornir who also repairs items.
The Bear Clan has a significant presence, as its headquarters is here. Their ruler, Uolgo Bear-Father. There are some Breton, Redguard, and beast race inhabitants, but the Bear Clan has kept them in their place.
The Mages Guild has a tiny presence in the town; Ravos Terandas is stationed in Nauk gra-Olad's House to do business with the Bear Clan. After completing A Crisis of Character, Ravos Terandas is replaced with a different guild member.
PeopleEdit
The town is ruled by Thane Gorvrda, who lives in her mead hall. Uolgo Bear-Father, the ruler of the Bear Clan, lives in the Bear Clan Den. For a list of all people see: Karthgad People.
Getting There and AroundEdit
Just south of town is a boat that can take you to the Karthwasten Docks

You can easily reach Karthgad by taking the boat from the Karthwasten Docks to the Vorndgad Forest Region for 8 gold. From there, take the road east and then turn left. Then, keep going forward until you see Karthgad's walls.
Places of Interest Around KarthgadEdit
The Bear Clan Den is southeast of the Smith. The Mead Hall of Thane Gorvrda is southeast of Nauk gra-Olad's House. To the north of the town is Kerlingroff Mine, an iron mine overrun by spikeworms.
