Morrowind talk:Resist Normal Weapons

AdamantiumEdit

Are adamantium weapons affected by Resist Normal Weapons? --Neekerisanni123 02:48, 2 January 2011 (UTC)

I am not positive, and I don't have the Morrowind CS, but I am pretty sure that Normal Weapons are Iron and Steel. Anything else ignores the effect. --DKong27 Talk Cont 03:16, 2 January 2011 (UTC)
According to the CS, in unpatched Tribunal, Adamantium is affected by Resist Normal Weapons. Also affected are Nordic, Imperial, Bonemold, and Chitin, along with a few uniques, such as Fury and 6th House bell hammers. With the Morrowind Patch, Adamantium ignores this spell effect. --Brf 04:41, 2 January 2011 (UTC)
Hmm, seems that the article, and the opposite it should be changed. It mentions Iron and Steel, and Silver or better. This isn't very specific. --DKong27 Talk Cont 05:15, 2 January 2011 (UTC)

Question...Edit

When I first began I couldn't kill Scamps and things without enchanted weaponry, but now I can. My Long Sword skill is at 100, is that why? Do you get past the immunity as your level goes up? Just curious...--Archer7 22:09, 23 November 2011 (UTC)

Are you sure you're not using non iron or steel weapons (like, say, a dwarven claymore)? --Chill02 04:17, 26 February 2012 (UTC)
I've just created a complete list of all "normal" weapons at Normal Weapons. (Oddly, there are actually FAR more "abnormal" weapons than normal ones, by like 5:1. Though I suppose that's going by number of types, not total number, which I don't feel like wasting my time calculating right now.) This should clear up any further confusion as to what qualifies. --TheRealLurlock Talk 05:11, 26 February 2012 (UTC)

Custom spells?Edit

Is it possible to make custom spells with "Resist Normal Weapons"? Bauglir100 (talk) 17:21, 20 March 2015 (GMT)

Do resist applies before or after armor absorbation?Edit

Just curious.
