Barren Cave is a natural cave network found in the Cheydinhal Foothills, in the western Heartlands of Cyrodiil. It is located along the Blue Road.
HistoryEdit
Like all natural caves, these tunnels once served as the capillaries of Nirn, pulsing with the divine essence of the Aedra.[1]
Circa 2E 582, the cave was located at the mouth of a waterfall west of Blue Road Keep, a strategically important fortification built on top of the region's volcanic springs. At that time it was occupied by the Bloodborn, a group of Cyrodilic vampires.[2]
By 3E 433, Barren Cave was located next to a body of water and continued to be used as a vampire den.[3]
