VampirismEdit

I saw your pictures of the various different armour models, good job! Just wondering if you could get an image for the Vampirism page because an image would make it a lot better and you seem to be quite good with images:) you don't have to, just if you have the chance. RIM 20:49, 14 December 2011 (UTC)

I'll certainly give it a go. I've never encountered vampirism in the game because I play as a mage and never let anything hit me, so I'll use the console to add the disease. I'll try it first with my Khajiit but the effects will probably be more noticeable on something like an Imperial. So we'll see how I go but I'll be happy to provide the page with an initial image. The Invisible Chocobo 07:37, 15 December 2011 (UTC)
Thanks, like I said there's no hurry or anything like that.RIM 13:42, 15 December 2011 (UTC)
I've already done it. xD As it turns out, Khajiit look more strikingly different than I had expected. The Invisible Chocobo 13:44, 15 December 2011 (UTC)
Good image, weird though, my male khajiit looked almost the exact same with vampirism:)RIM 13:45, 15 December 2011 (UTC)
Thanks =3 I've noticed that my images don't seem quite as sharp as others, but I'm not too sure why. I'm running on Ultra settings for graphics, so it's not that. I mean it doesn't matter too much, really. The Invisible Chocobo 13:56, 15 December 2011 (UTC)
Not really a big deal, I don't upload images so I wouldn't be sure what the problem is.RIM 14:00, 15 December 2011 (UTC)

Fat cats!Edit

Okay, I know we request NPC images to be at 1:1 ratio, but this is not the correct way to do it. If an image is too skinny, you should replace it, not stretch it so that the person looks morbidly obese. If you can't get a new image with a proper aspect ratio for whatever reason, just leave it alone - somebody else will probably be able to do it. But in the meantime, an improper aspect ratio is better than a distorted image, especially if it involves people. --TheRealLurlock Talk 12:51, 6 February 2012 (UTC)

Hmm, my apologies, I think what I'm seeing is a glitch on the site. When you click on the image to get the full size, you get a new image without stretching, but the thumbnails all just show the old version stretched out. Not sure what's going on, but we need to fix this. I'll post something on the Admin noticeboard. --TheRealLurlock Talk 12:57, 6 February 2012 (UTC)
I was hoping that would kinda fix itself, really. When I look at it, all but four of the armour images have the correct thumbnail, but I have uploaded a new 1:1 image for all of them, as you see when you view the full-size image. I did them all at once and for some reason some of the thumbnails just stretched the old image. Sorry, I should have let someone know. I read that it could have something to do with cache, but I've cleared that, and no change on my end. The Invisible Chocobo 14:02, 6 February 2012 (UTC)
For those you just have to reset your browser cache and it should clear up. But this is not why I am here!. TIC, I was wondering if there would be any way for you to fix the male versions of these images, such as File:SR-item-Dwarven Heavy Armor.jpg. They are kind of conflicting with their current aspect ratios. Thanks! elliot (talk) 04:22, 7 April 2012 (UTC)
I fixed my own female images because I actually took the screenshots again; point is, I had the original uncropped image. I could redo the male images as well (against the same background if it's suitable enough) but converting those to 1:1 would require chopping off parts of the model. The Invisible Chocobo 09:56, 7 April 2012 (UTC)
Just do them like the female versions, and everything will look good. :) elliot (talk) 16:52, 7 April 2012 (UTC)
Alrighty, the images are done and I'm going to go ahead and replace the old ones. I just wanted to ask, would it be a good idea to have all of the male and female images on the page rather than half and half? It's what was there initially and I know Nephele changed it because it crowded the page, but the Oblivion armor page has all of them and I think it's nice to see both versions of each armor type. Someone skilled with wiki tables could make it look neat enough, I think. The Invisible Chocobo 04:25, 8 April 2012 (UTC)
If you look at SR:Dwarven, you will see that the armor is side by side for the genders. Unless you were talking about SR:Armor, which is already done. And thanks! elliot (talk) 04:29, 8 April 2012 (UTC)

Well I meant having the light armor female and heavy armor male images on the armor page together, because at the moment it's light male and heavy female only. But if they're comparable on the armor material pages then it's alright. Just a suggestion to make it a little more uniform with the Oblivion pages. The Invisible Chocobo 04:32, 8 April 2012 (UTC)

Sorry, I understand now. Yeah, I personally believe that it would be beneficial to include both genders for both types of armor. elliot (talk) 04:36, 8 April 2012 (UTC)
I would do it myself if I wasn't scared of wiki formatting, so I might put it on the talk page. Thanks for the support! The Invisible Chocobo 04:38, 8 April 2012 (UTC)

Awesome!Edit

You have been given a shiny gold star!

Those images are fantastic! Keep up the good work. elliot (talk) 07:12, 8 April 2012 (UTC)

Aww thank you, I really appreciate this. =3 The Invisible Chocobo 07:21, 8 April 2012 (UTC)
