DialogueEdit
- Greetings:
- (If you have never talked to her before):
- "Oh, hello there, %PCRace. I'm terribly sorry, but I don't have much time to entertain visitors. I have so many pressing matters to deal with, as you can see from this mountain of paperwork. Every Imperial citizen in Old Ebonheart has a complaint to file, apparently. Is there something specific you need?"
- Background:
- "I am %Name, Minister of Justice."
- Juris Imperator Tamrielicus:
- "The Juris is the foundation for Imperial law. Here in Morrowind, all Imperial subjects are bound by it, whether they are native Dunmer or outlanders. House Hlaalu is most willing to embrace the Juris, but some of the other Great Houses are more reticent."
- my trade:
- "As Minister of Justice, I have two broad mandates: to see that the Juris Imperator Tamrielicus is kept throughout the entirety of Morrowind and ensure all Imperial citizens have an avenue to voice their grievances."
- (If Disposition ≥ 50):
- "As Minister of Justice, I somehow need to ensure that the Juris Imperator Tamrielicus is kept throughout the entire province and that all Imperial citizens have an avenue to express their grievances, and believe me, everyone has some kind of complaint."
- pressing matters:
- "Yes, that's right. Nearly every Imperial citizen has some manner of complaint about the terribly unfair treatment they've received. And it's not just that. A former Imperial general, Casik, has been badgering my office with pleas about his case. He's filed appeal after appeal, all protesting his innocence and that he's not a traitor."
- Unrest in Cyrodiil City:
- "These are indeed troubled times for the Empire."
Belated JusticeEdit
- Greetings:
- "Greetings, %PCName. As you can see, my work continues to pile up. I'm simply swamped with all these pressing matters to attend to. What can I do for you today?"
- "Thank you for clearing up that business with General Casik for me, %PCName. What can I help you with?"
- Casik:
- "Yes, General Casik. Haven't you heard of him? He was the Imperial commander here thirty years ago, and by all accounts he served honorably at his post, but he was accused of plotting treason and was thrown into prison, where he's remained to this day. He claims he was being impersonated by a Daedric doppelganger. Say... how good are you at ferreting out the truth?"
- I know how to ask the right questions.:
- "Really? Then how about helping me clear up this case? Go down to the dungeons in the Legion headquarters and talk to General Casik. See if you can get him to drop his appeal so I can turn my attention to other cases. Here, you'll need this note for the jailer. Tell Gaulus that you have permission from me to talk to Casik. Once you've convinced the general to drop his appeal, come report back to me. I'd be very grateful." (You receive a Note from Minister of Justice)
-
- Sorry, I don't have time for this.:
- "Disappointing. Well, if you change your mind, come back and talk to me."
- "Like I said before, go down to the Legion dungeon and talk to General Casik. That's in the basement of the Legion headquarters. See if he will agree to drop his case so I can concentrate on other issues. Once he's agreed to do so, report back to me."
- "I received yet another letter from General Casik today. He continues to maintain his innocence. I have no idea how I'm supposed to get any work done when I have to wade through all this correspondence."
- About General Casik. I've agreed to file an appeal on his behalf.:
- "You intend to argue General Casik's case for him, then? Curious. Are you ready to make your arguments, or do you need more time to prepare your case?"
- I'm ready to present General Casik's case now.:
- "Very well. The hearing shall commence.
-
-
- This court is convened to try the case of General Casik. General Casik is accused of crimes against the Empire, including dereliction of duty, conspiracy, and forsaking of his oaths. How does the defendant plead?"
- General Casik is innocent of the charges he is accused of and should be released with a full pardon.:
- "Innocent, you say? Do you have any proof that can substantiate these claims?"
- General Casik's honor was unimpeachable. It was completely out of character for him to plan and attempt to carry out a treasonous act of this nature.:
- "Yes, it is true that General Casik's honor was well-attested by all, including his fellow officers and Imperial officials. That's why the actions he was accused of performing were so difficult to believe. Do you have any further arguments?"
- A Daedra impersonated the General. The General discovered the doppelganger in his own home.:
- "Yes, General Casik claims he was impersonated by a Daedra, but there is no proof, no other witnesses who can attest to his statement. Do you have anything further to add?"
- That is all I have to say.:
- "Very well. We must withdraw to consider this case. This court will be in recess for one hour.

- (If you have talked with Nerasa Veran about the Daedric doppelganger and have learnt about Deesh-Ja)
- "Yes, the General did claim that a Daedra impersonated him, and a Daedric doppelganger would explain why his wife and aide both claimed that he confessed his treachery. However, do you have proof of this doppelganger?"
- Nerasa Veran claimed that her husband was with her the night before he was arrested, but Lord General Victrix states that General Casik was with his lover, an Argonian named Deesh-Ja.:
- "Astonishing. So two witnesses placed General Casik in two different places at the same time? This certainly sheds new light on this case. Very well. We must withdraw to consider this case. This court will be in recess for one hour."

Hlarsis v Alju-DeekusEdit
- "Yes, we had a trial concerning his citizenship. He was deemed to be a free citizen of the Empire. Do you have something to add?"
- Alju-Deekus should be returned to Mols Hlarsis.:
- "Why should he be returned to Hlarsis? Unless you have new evidence that favors him, the court's verdict still stands."
- Hlarsis belongs to House Hlaalu. It is foolish to risk the Empire's relationship with its closest ally in the province over the freedom of a slave.:
- "Why does that matter? You're acting like Hlarsis sits on the Hlaalu Council Company. A retainer does not have enough influence to take this to Narsis and make it a problem."
- (If Disposition ≥ 80 and Speechcraft ≥ 75)
- "Yes, that's a good point. We can't risk our great relationship over one slave. Very well then. I will instruct Gnaea Ellerian to surrender him back to Hlarsis. Tell him a guard will meet him at the city gates in an hour for the pickup."
-
-
- By allowing this slave to become free the Empire is violating Morrowind's laws.:
- "The Empire rules Morrowind, not the other way around. We won't send a slave back into custody because traditions were not respected."
-
-
-
- I have nothing to say.:
- "I thought as much."
-
-
- Mols Hlarsis is planning to kill Alju-Deekus. He attempted to hire me to do it.:
- "Oh my. He acted very weak and timid during the trial so this does not surprise me in the slightest. Thank you for doing the right thing and reporting this. We will take it from here and investigate it. Take this gold as thanks." (You receive 50 gold, and Mols Hlarsis' Disposition set to 0)
- (If Alju-Deekus has been returned to Mols Hlarsis):
- "Yes, he has been returned to Hlarsis."
- (If Mols Hlarsis has given up on the case):
- "I heard you were able to get Hlarsis to drop his case. I'm glad justice has been served."
- (If you told her about Mols Hlarsis' plan):
- "Thank you for informing us of Hlarsis' plans."
- (If Mols Hlarsis is dead):
- "Hlarsis is dead, so why are you asking?"
- (If Alju-Deekus is dead):
- "I heard he turned up dead. How strange..."
Morag Tong: Writ for Dileru DrasEdit
- "What is it now? A complaint against a guardsman? Well, since you are still standing in front of me, whatever he did to you can't have been that bad. No, I don't have time for you right now. If you want your case heard, submit your petition in written form, and then I shall evaluate how urgent it is. And please, enlist the services of one of the members of Marsh & Ellerian here in Old Ebonheart. I prefer petitions that are legible."
- "I thought I already told you -- get a barrister to put your complaint to paper and submit it to me. You can find a whole office of them in Old Ebonheart. Check Marsh & Ellerian's offices, I am sure there is one you can afford."
- "You have obtained a formal petition in writing? Where is it, then?"
- "You have a complaint about the conduct of a guard? Very well, I will deal with it in due time- oh. I see. That IS a rather serious matter. Yes, %PCName, I will make things right with you and your guild forthwith. Consider any legal troubles you have cleared. Take the 1100 gold as compensation, and also confer my sincerest apologies to your leadership. We would never interfere with your legal duties. And Entosaro Tanian will be re-assigned as soon as possible. Maybe to Solstheim. Or, even better, Roscrea." (Removed Formal Complaint from your inventory, you receive 1100 gold, bounty removed, and Entosaro Tanian is disabled)
- Thank you.:
- "You are welcome. I hope this matter has been settled to your guild's satisfaction."
-
- The petition said NO LESS than 1100...:
- (If your Speechcraft ≥ 60):
- "I see your point, %PCName. Let me increase your compensation by another 500 septims. As a token of appreciation for all the honorable work you and your guild do." (Disposition -10, and you receive 500 gold)
- (If your Speechcraft < 60):
- "Yes, %PCName. I have read it too. I do not require legal texts explained to me. You have submitted a petition, and we have unconditionally accepted it. There is no more for us to discuss in this matter." (Disposition -20)
- "This matter is settled. Entosaro Tanian will never bother a member of your guild again. I have made sure that he stays far away from any Morag Tong writs, for the sake of all parties involved."
- (If Entosaro Tanian is dead):
- "So you have taken this matter into your own hands, then? There is nothing more for me to add."
