Private Garrian is a Breton vampire found in Darkmaw Fissure, on the upper level of the cave. He serves as the boss of a mini-quest to free Ivan the Vale Cat from a cage on the bottom level of the same cave. (?)
Garrian was part of the Imperial expedition to the Forgotten Vale to explore the valley and assess its natural resources. According to the Message found in Darkmaw Vale camp, Garrian had been missing for some time and the search for him had since been called off. Although he was assumed dead by his comrades, after you explore the upper level of the cave above Ivan's cage, you will discover that Garrian is instead undead and has been draining and murdering the Imperial trappers for food.
He holds the key to Ivan the Vale Cat's cage, and must be defeated to free the sabre cub. His one-handed attacks are formidable in addition to his Vampiric Drain spell.
