Darkmaw Vale is a vale with an abandoned Imperial Camp and Snow Elf ruins that is accessed from the Darkmaw Passage.
Once discovered, it will gain its own Map Marker (the mountain pass icon) and can be Fast Traveled to.
WalkthroughEdit
CampsiteEdit
As you enter Darkmaw Vale, there is an Imperial campsite to the west (in front of you). There are three tents, two small ones to the right and a large one to the left. The two smaller tents each have a bedroll, while the larger tent has a bedroll and a table with a vale sabre cat hide, lantern, broken iron war axe handle, broken iron war axe head and a Message on it.
The Wild SideEdit
The far side of the stream may look peaceful, with Fishing Supplies set up, but two angry Spriggans hide in the trees. With Detect Life or Aura Whisper, they can be seen before they emerge from hiding to attack.
Snow Elf ShrineEdit
On the upper section of the vale, there is a Snow Elf shrine that contains the unique pair of Ancient Falmer Gauntlets named Initiate's Imposition. As you exit the shrine, two ice wraiths will pop out of the ground to attack.
Darkmaw DeepEdit
There are three entrances to Darkmaw Deep from the vale, with one opposite the Snow Elf shrine.
Another entrance is further to the east of the snow elf shrine, and the final entrance is by going down the river.
Darkmaw FissureEdit
The entrance to Darkmaw Fissure can be found next to the waterfall.
