Crabber's Shanty is a small run-down shack on the River Hjaal.

The shack is home to a lone fisherman. It contains only one zone, which is the exterior zone Crabber's Shanty.

ExteriorEdit

Inside the shanty

There are two doorways into the shanty and several holes in the roof and a large glassless window in the wall, making it barely better than sleeping outside. One doorway faces east and the other faces west. There are several sacks and a barrel containing foodstuffs around the shanty; one small sack outside the south side of the shanty isn't marked as owned and therefore can be emptied freely. Outside the doorway to the east on a small piece of decking is an open crate containing two dead mudcrabs that can be harvested freely. The fisherman seems to spend all of his time sitting on the edge of the decking. There is a clam in the stream near the shanty that can be harvested for clam meat, while several mudcrabs are found up and down the stream from here.

Crabber's ShantyEdit

Inside the shanty, there is a single owned bed in the southeastern corner. Against the west wall is a small unit holding another dead mudcrab that can be freely harvested. To the right of this is a basket containing three potatoes. Against the north wall is a set of shelves holding three bottles of ale, two leeks, three carrots, and six tomatoes. The bottles of ale can be freely taken, but the vegetables are owned.

NotesEdit

  • The barrels in the house are respawning; however, the sacks are non-respawning and safe to store items in.

BugsEdit

  • Fast traveling to this location can sometimes cause the player to spawn high in the air, only to fall to their death.
  • Crabber's Shanty is erroneously marked as being in Whiterun Hold.
