Snowline is a tiny village based high in the mountains on the Hammerfell/Skyrim border. From here, travel is possible to Ghast's Pass, Dragonfields, Fearfrost Caverns and Lakvan's Stronghold.
The village is made up of four houses, one of which is home to Wendek Freetalker, who buys and sells Armor, Consumables and Weapons. Sissithik and Rilora occupy two of the other three houses, and both offer quests to the enterprising adventurer, and outside the other house are agents from Hammerfell and Skyrim: Porliss Caith and Tanyin Aldwyr respectively.
Several unusual herbs grow in Snowline: Mountain Tail, Foxglove, and Snow Blossom Herbs grow near to the village, while Yuin Root and Trefoil Flower grow in a hidden area to the south, reached via a teleporter pad on the central glacier.

When you use the teleporter:
- "You feel your body become light, and then weightless. As you begin to materialize at your new destination, you discover yourself submerged within a large body of water. Without enough time to react, you find yourself being dragged into a dark cavern, beneath the water. After several minutes of floundering through an underground tunnel, the cavern finally spits you out. Dripping wet, you look around and notice a woman nearby. Perhaps she can answer some questions for you."
