Rolunda

Rolunda is a Nord found at a campsite outside Orkey's Hollow on Bleakrock Isle. Her brother Eiman ventured into the cave and hasn't returned.

A Beginning at BleakrockEdit

If you have Captain Rana send you to Rolunda, you notify her:

"Come to prove your courage? So did my brother. Now he's gone."

Captain Rana sent me. I'm here to help.

"Thank you. I just hope we're not too late."

The Frozen ManEdit

Continuing on the conversation if she was the first to receive help, She will need your help to find her brother:

"My brother never was the sharpest sword on the rack, but he's all I've got left."

Your brother is missing? (Leads to quest dialogue)

Otherwise if she wasn't the first villager to be receive help:

"Come to prove your courage? So did my brother. Now he's gone."

Your brother is missing?

"Eiman is inside this cave ... somewhere.

The Frozen Man does all sorts of things to people who enter his domain. I can't leave Eiman in there. Since Father died and Mother left, he's all I have."

Who is the Frozen Man?

"No one knows. He takes people who enter Orkey's Hollow. Now he's taken my brother.

I should stop sharpening this blade. You must go inside. I just can't."

Stay here. I'll find Eiman.

"We knew a man, Old Rory. He went in. When the soldiers dragged him out, he was missing all his bones.

I'll give you until my fire burns out. Then I'm coming in after you."

If you continue to speak to her, she'll elaborate on her brother and the cave:

Tell me about your brother. / Tell me about Eiman.

"He drinks too much, fights too much, and doesn't have the sense Kyne gave a horker. He's the best cook on the island, though.
Since Father died fighting the Akaviri, we've only had each other."

How long has this cave been haunted?

"About ten years ago, there was a collapse somewhere inside. After that, people started disappearing.
As long as I can remember, the cave's been forbidden. Captain Rana lectures us every time someone goes in to prove how brave they are."

Returning with Eiman, she will reunite with her brother:

Rolunda: "Eiman!"

Eiman: "Rolly! You came to save me!"

Rolunda: "You're lucky I came at all."

She will ask how you found him:

"Where did you find him?"

The Frozen Man had him. He's all right now.

"Kyne's gift! We'll head back to the village right now. Rana's going to flay his fool hide! I can't properly repay you, but please, take this. It was our mother's."

The Missing of BleakrockEdit

You can speak to her after the quest and let her know that the Daggerfall Covenant is here:

"I can't thank you enough for finding my brother."

There were soldiers in the frozen man's cave. They were from the Daggerfall Covenant.

"Soldiers, here? That's ill news. I'll get my brother back to the village.

In the meantime, you need to find missing people. There are a lot of us scattered across the wilds. Find as many as you can."

I'll find as many as I can.

When the quest is complete, Rolunda will take Eiman back to the village.

Rolunda: "We're going. Dumb ox,"

Eiman: "You should've seen it, Rolly. The cave is incredible."

Rolunda: "Don't call me Rolly."

Eiman: "He had treasures! He was child-sized, like an evil baby man."

Rolunda: "Go in there again, and I'll leave you to rot."

Back at the village, you can find Rolunda working outside the siblings' house. She says:

"I swear, if he goes back to that cave again, I'm going to punch him in the throat."

Sparking the FlameEdit

Before the evacuation starts, you will find many of the villagers gathered outside Last Rest. If you have completed The Frozen Man, Rolunda and Eiman will be there as well. Rolunda is upset about the Covenant's attack, saying:

"The Covenant has made a mistake. I'm going to make them pay for what they've done today.
They'll regret the day they crossed me!"

Escape from BleakrockEdit

After you disabled the traps in Last Rest, she will be among the refugees to cross safely.

Upon completing the quest, Rolunda will be one of several refugees on the shores of Bal Foyen outside Dhalmora. She will say:

"Eiman, be brave. I'll send you off with the other villagers. You'll be safe.
I need your help. We need to make the Covenant pay for what they did on Bleakrock. All right?"

If By SeaEdit

When you have to go to the dockyards to acquire kindlepitch, she will relocate the location and will be geared up for the incoming battle. She will be sparring with Trynhild Earth-Turner. You cannot interact with her at this time.

Breaking the TideEdit

If you choose to aid in the defense at the docks, you can find her standing on a stone bridge, glaring at the corpses of two Covenant soldiers.

"The Daggers are cowards. They attack the weak and hide behind tricks.
These soldiers thought I was a defenseless farmer. I've corrected that error."

After helping Rana at the docks, Rolunda will be kneeling beside an injured Trynhild Earth-Turner:

"You did great, Tryn. Don't worry. The healer will fix you up.

She did great, didn't she?"

If you choose not to defend the docks and return after completing Zerin in Peril, you will find Trynhild dead on the bridge with Rolunda. They both put up a last stand against the Daggerfall forces.

Davon's WatchEdit

If she survived at the docks, you can talk to her in Davon's Watch.

"Damn that brother of mine. He went and got himself killed.
And damn the Daggers, too. Every last one of them."

EbonheartEdit

She can be found with the other Bleackrock survivors in a camp outside Ebonheart's city walls.

"We're out in the big world now. Tryn and I are going to get some real training."

KragenmoorEdit

She can be found with Trynhild at the Mages Guild.

"Trynhild won't stop talking about these spell-slingers. It's all I can do to convince her not to join the Mages Guild."
