Perditte Noie is a Breton who can be found talking with Gaspar Bavette in Gonfalon Bay in front of The Ancient Anchor Inn.
DialogueEdit
When spoken to before Of Knights and Knaves:
- "Seems like the seas around High Isle are more troubled than usual. Be careful not to get caught in the current, mainlander."
After the events of Of Knights and Knaves, she'll talk with Gaspar:
- Perditte Noie: "I saw it myself. The light at Gonfalon Head went out, right around the same time as that storm! They say rogue knights threatened the keeper."
- Gaspar Bavette: "The Ascendant Order. The same ruffians drove most of the salvagers away from the Shallows. It's not safe to walk the loch."
When spoken to:
- "What kind of fools would tamper with the lighthouse?
They're no sailors, I can say that. No tar-grip worth the name would put another sailor in danger."
After the events of People of Import, she'll talk with Gaspar:
- Perditte Noie : "Did you see what happened? An earthquake destroyed the Colossus of Gonfalon while the nobles were having a party!"
- Gaspar Bavette : "The statue of the Baron-Admiral, destroyed. Bad winds are coming to High Isle. Bad winds indeed."
If you speak to her, she'll say:
- "Never thought I'd see the day when the Gonfalon Colossus laid low. Every homeward voyage I looked for that sword raised to the sky. No more, I guess. No more."
After the events of Deadly Investigations, the two will say:
- Perditte Noie : "It doesn't make sense. This Ascended Order is tearing the island apart, looking something they think washed ashore."
- Gaspar Bavette : "Well, I hope they find it and go back to the mainland. I've had enough of rogue knights and gawkers from Tamriel."
If you speak to her at this point, she'll say:
- "I heard they found the broken pieces of Kamal's Bane on Shipwreck Shoals. A damn fine ship, she was. Good enough to carry that Nordling prince whatever-his-name."
After the events of Escape from Amenos, the two will say:
- Perditte Noie : "I heard important visitors were rescued from Amenos. They're here for Lord Bacaro's conference!"
- Gaspar Bavette : "Any idea what that conference is all about? The nobles are being real secretive as to the actual purpose of this meeting."
If you speak to her at this point, she'll say:
- "Three mainland royals in Gonfalon Bay now. Could Lord Bacaro's peace talks finally be happening?"
After the events of To Catch a Magus:
- Perditte Noie : "The Ascendant Order tried to kidnap Duchess Elea! I heard some mainlander hero saved her!"
- Gaspar Bavette : "Mainlanders! I suppose they're good for something. Now if they could figure out how to calm down Mount Firesong …."
If you speak to her at this point, he'll say:
- "These faceless knights—the Ascended ones, or whatever they're called—are giving the Systres a bad name, if you ask me. Someone needs to do something about them."
After the events of The Ascendant Storm:
- Perditte Noie : "I can't believe it. An Ascendant Order sailed a fleet right into the loch! I heard there was a terrible battle at All Flags Islet."
- Gaspar Bavette : "And I heard that the important visitors were there. And they turned out to be the leaders of the three alliances! Good thing someone was there to defend them."
If you speak to her at this point, he'll say:
- "A battle at All Flags Castle? Who could have believed it? Nothing's happened there for hundreds years … until these Tamsfolk brought their troubles here. At least it's settled now."
After the events of A Chance for Peace:
- Perditte Noie : "Did you hear? Lord Bacaro's conference. It's peace talks to try to end the Three Banners War."
- Gaspar Bavette : "Good luck with that! They may have worked together to stop the Ascendant Order, but they won't stop trying to kill each other until one of them sits on the Ruby Throne."
If you speak to her at this point, he'll say:
- "All's well, I suppose. The mainlander royals are up at the palace, the light at Gonfalon Head's keeping the seas safe, and those robber-knights are at the bottom of the loch. Where they belong."
