Expert Hunter will reveal hidden enemies and prevent them from returning to stealth for a short time. It will also grant you increased Weapon Critical and Spell Critical just by being slotted. With the Evil Hunter morph, it will increase the damage of all non Ultimate Fighters Guild abilities while active, while the Camouflaged Hunter morph grants you a damage bonus from flanking attacks that do critical damage while the skill is slotted.

- Like Magelight, this skill is mostly useful in PVP as very few NPC enemies use stealth attacks.
- Prior to Patch 5.1.5, Camouflaged Hunter provided Minor Berserk when attacking from stealth.
- Before Update 10, this skill gave your attacks a chance to deal additional damage against all targets, with a greater chance against Undead and Daedra, with increasing duration for each Undead and Daedra killed. It also passively increased your Weapon Critical while slotted, and allowed you to see Undead and Daedra better. Evil Hunter also added Stamina restoration to the on-hit chance, while Camouflaged Hunter dealt even more damage when attacking from stealth.
- Before Update 6, this skill gave your attacks a chance to deal additional damage to Undead and Daedra, with increasing duration for each Undead and Daedra killed. Evil Hunter also added Stamina restoration to the on-hit chance, while Camouflaged Hunter always dealt additional damage to Undead and Daedra if you performed a stealth attack.

- The FX for this ability no longer persists on dead monsters.
- Damage from Silver Bolts, Expert Hunter, and Trap Beast is now based on stamina and weapon damage instead of magicka and spell power.
- Camouflaged Hunter (morph): This ability now only applies to the first hit of the ability Twin Slashes.
- Evil Hunter: This ability now highlights vampire player characters in Cyrodiil.
- This ability now always provides you with the Major Weapon Crit buff.
- This ability now lasts for 15 seconds and grants a 4% chance to deal additional damage to the target, with the chance increased to 15% against Daedra.
- Damage over time and channeled abilities now have a chance to proc Expert Hunter on the first tick.
- Camouflaged Hunter: This ability now makes it less likely that you will be detected by Daedra while stealthed.
- This ability is no longer multiplied by the stealth critical damage bonus if it is used before entering stealth, it will now behave consistently if used before or after entering stealth.
- The effects to sense evil have been moved to the torso area, with a larger version included for Titans.
- Increased the internal cooldown for procs to 2.5 seconds from 1.5 seconds.
- Camouflaged Hunter: This ability's bonus damage from stealth now scales off weapon damage/critical.
- Fixed an issue where this ability could proc off siege damage.

- Expert Hunter: Redesigned this ability and its morphs so they no longer grant a small chance to deal additional bonus damage; instead, they can be activated to reveal hidden or invisible enemies in a 6 meter radius for 5 seconds, and prevents revealed enemies from returning to stealth for 3 seconds.
- These abilities will continue illuminate Undead, Daedra, and Werewolves and grant Major Savagery while slotted.
- Camouflaged Hunter: In addition to the changes made to the base ability, this morph now also grants the Minor Berserk buff for 5/6/7/8 seconds after dealing a Critical Hit from crouch at Ranks I/II/III/IV.
- Evil Hunter: In addition to the changes made to the base ability, this morph now also reduces the Stamina cost of Fighters Guild abilities by 25% while active.

- Fixed an issue where this ability cost more than its original form.
- This morph no longer grants 25% reduced Stamina cost of Fighters Guild abilities. Instead, it grants up to 25% damage dealt with non-Ultimate Fighters Guild abilities.
- Camouflaged Hunter:
- This ability will no longer costs more than the base form, and no longer grants Minor Berserk from successful sneak attacks. It now grants Minor Berserk from dealing Critical Damage from an enemy's flank.
- Decreased the duration of Minor Berserk to 5 seconds from 10 seconds at Rank IV.
- Fixed numerous issues with passives such as Banish the Wicked or Expert Hunter failing to recognize some enemies as Werewolves in the Wolfhunter DLC dungeons.
- This ability and the Camouflaged Hunter morph now reveal hidden enemies within 8 meters of you, up from 6 meters.
- All versions of this ability now check for hidden enemies every 500ms, instead of once every second, for more responsive catching of those slippery targets.
- All versions of this ability now prevent stealth and invisibility for 4 seconds, up from 3 seconds.
- The hidden passive from this ability and its morphs, Sense Evil, now only highlight player Werewolves and Vampires rather than any Undead, Daedra, or Werewolf creature. This change was done to better represent the targets your Skilled Tracker bonus works against.
- Evil Hunter (morph): This morph now also increases the radius of the reveal to 12 meters.
