Quest-Related EventsEdit
After encountering Vanisande Maul's spirit she will explain that Commodore Malfairre performed a dark druidic ritual which meant none of those beneath him could truly die. Vanisande then asks for your help breaking the curse, but asks you to find information regarding the ritual.
This can be found from reading various captain logs around the caverns and witnessing the visions of the past she conjures. Captain Fauvette appears in one: After reading Debonaire's Captain Log:
- Vanisande Maul: "There's lingering doubt about this book. Regrets are a lost soul's anchor."
- <A vision of Commodore Malfairre standing before Captain Fauvette, Captain Tuvacca and Captain Altair.>
- Commodore Malfairre: "I said take the idols! Place them how I showed you. Do as I command and we may yet escape this with our lives."
- Captain Fauvette: "Y—yes, sir!"
- Captain Tuvacca: "I hope you know what you're doing."
DialogueEdit
When her hostile spirit is encountered, she will cry out:
- Captain Fauvette: "I had so much to live for … but not like this. I barely remember the sight of the sea."
- Captain Fauvette: "If I'd had known this is how it would end I wouldn't feared mutiny."
- Captain Fauvette: "The Debonaire was such a beautiful ship. I was such a beautiful captain.…"
Skills and AbilitiesEdit
- Ice Arrow
- A basic ranged attack that does minor frost damage.
- Summon Burdening Eye
- The enemy summons a Burdening Eye that moves toward the player.
- Stare
- If the Burdening Eye touches the player, it explodes, temporarily rooting the player in place and doing moderate magical damage.
- Summon Allies
- Captain Fauvette summons a Ghost Strongarm and a Ghost Swashbuckler to fight for her.
- Summon Totem
- Captain Fauvette summons her Totem (Ghost Haven Bay), which deals continuous poison damage and snares around it. It also periodicaly casts areas that travel in a straight line in 4 directions which deal damage and roots targets hit.
