Quick WalkthroughEdit

1. Talk to Sjoring Hard-Heart for orders.
2. Kill Gentleman Jim Stacey at Simine Fralinie's bookstore in the Foreign Quarter Canalworks.
3. Return to a hostile Sjoring Hard-Heart and kill him to complete the quest.

The OrdersEdit

Sjoring Hard-Heart in the Vivec Guild of Fighters wants you to kill the Master Thief of the Thieves Guild.

Kill the Master ThiefEdit

Gentleman Jim Stacey can be found at Simine Fralinie's bookstore in the Vivec Foreign Quarter Canalworks. He is behind the locked (65) door in the back of the bookshop. Frenzy Humanoid or Taunt can be used to force him to strike first, in order to avoid any negative consequences when killing him. Attacking him outright will incur a Bounty on your head and cause Crazy-Legs Arantamo to become hostile.

When you return to Sjoring Hard-Heart, he will immediately attack, arguing that you are a threat to his position. Defeat him to become Master of the Fighters Guild.

NotesEdit

• Quest stage 110 can never be obtained since you cannot become the Master Thief without killing Sjoring first.

100	Finishes quest	I told Sjoring Hard-Heart about killing the Master Thief. When he got the news, he attacked me, saying I was a threat to his position.
110	Finishes quest	I told Sjoring the truth: That I am the new Master Thief of Vvardenfell. Upon hearing the news, he attacked me.
