Blades:Stats

< Blades

In Blades, there are several stats that influence the player's actions.

Character InfoEdit

AttributesEdit

There are three main attributes. Each is represented by a colored bar that is displayed at the bottom of the heads-up-display (HUD) whenever in combat or if any of them is below 100%. Attributes do not increase after level 50.

HealthEdit

Health is the amount of damage you can take before you need to use a Scroll of Revival or go back to Town. It is represented by a red bar in the bottom-middle of the HUD.

You start the game with 200 health and increases by 10 each level. Your base Health Regeneration during combat is 0.5% per second, but does not regenerate outside of combat. Your health becomes critical at 30% of your maximum health, which can activate several secondary enchantments from your items.

Your health is triple the amount in the arena against other players. However, the threshold for your health to become critical is still the same as your original maximum, which effectively means it only becomes active at 10% of your health.

MagickaEdit

Magicka is the amount of points you can spend to cast Spells. It is represented by a blue bar on the bottom-left side of the HUD.

You start the game with 200 magicka and can choose to either increase magicka or stamina by 10 each level. Your base Magicka Regeneration during combat is 4% per second, and 8% outside of combat.

StaminaEdit

Stamina is the amount of points you can spend to use Abilities. It is represented by a green bar on the bottom-right side of the HUD.

You start the game with 200 stamina and can choose to either increase magicka or stamina by 10 each level. Your base Stamina Regeneration during combat is 4% per second, and 8% outside of combat.

Player XP and LevelEdit

Your XP determines when you level up. Levelling helps your character to increase their attributes, receive skill points to allocate, get rewards, and receive special offers in the store. Several skills and items also require a higher level to be able to use. See leveling for more details.

Town PrestigeEdit

Your Town will level up next to your character by earning prestige. Prestige can be received from completing quests, building structures, or crafting decorations. The higher your town level, the more higher level buildings you can build. The max level of your town that can be reached is Level 10. See Town for more information.

Race and Racial BonussesEdit

Your race determines how your character looks. Each race also gives some small bonuses which can be found here.

OffenseEdit

DefenseEdit

Armor and Block RatingEdit

Armor and Block ratings are a reduction of the incoming physical damage from weapons. They use the following formula: [armor or block rating] / 10 = [damage reduction]. For a high block, the formula is [block rating] / 5 = [damage reduction]. For the specific armor or block rating, see the Armor page.

ResistancesEdit

Resistances are a flat reduction of the incoming resistant damage type. The following resistances can be found in-game:

  Resist Slashing
  Resist Cleaving
  Resist Bashing
  Resist Fire
  Resist Frost
  Resist Shock
  Resist Poison
  Resist Spells

WeaknessesEdit

Weaknesses are a flat increase of the corresponding incoming damage type. It is a statistic only found on enemies.

Other EffectsEdit

There are several other effects that can influence your character in combat. See Effects for a full list of them.
