When you're editing, it's always a good idea to leave edit summaries to explain the changes you have made to a particular page, and remember to sign your talk page posts with four tildes ~~~~. Also, the "show preview" button is a great way to view the changes you've made so far without actually saving the page (our patrollers really appreciate it!).

The UnveilingEdit
Hey GameFace and thank you for helping out with the Unveiling quest walkthrough. I hope it's okay with you that I have shortened the quick walkthrough a little bit more.
The idea is that the quick one really should be quick and to the point, whereas the detailed one lets you tell the story more detailed. So the quick walkthrough is a lot about "speak to this guy, go there, find this, do that, return". As to the "why" and "what did this dude say" - this belongs more to the detailed walkthrough, because the text will easily get longer during these parts.
According to some editors, we should also try to avoid spoilers, for example instead of Canonreeve Malanie and Condalin we could write "traitors" and not reveal who they are. This is perhaps not a strict "must do", but maybe more a guideline, as we attempt to have a similar style in all quest pages. I hope my explanation is somewhat understandable, and that I'm not discouraging you from editing! Feel free to ask or post questions on talk pages. Cheers, Tib (talk) 17:29, 16 April 2017 (UTC)
- Hello Tib,
- No worries, I am fine and indeed agree with what you said. I was hoping that someone would get around to edit the quick walk through, as I did not have time to complete the edititing. Reworking is the whole point of a Wiki after all (and many of my edits attempt to address consistency). GameFace42 (talk) 22:14, 16 April 2017 (UTC)
Finding Categories and Templates with searchEdit
Hey, I saw that you was wondering how to find Categories with the search tool. Normally, that is turned off so users only find relevant pages about the Elder Scrolls and not all kind of Templates and lists of Categories. If you click on the search icon when empty, you find a new search bar in the top of your screen with a bar underneath it. In this bar you can activate to search for 'Everything' or 'Advanced' (where you can change in what namespaces you want to search).
Achievement ImagesEdit
Hi GameFace. After you uploaded the achievement images for your page I wondered why we didn't have them already, so I went and found all of them in full size. They are now located at Online:Concept Art/Achievements. If want to replace the ones on your page with the full size ones we can then remove the duplicate files, otherwise we'll have to rename them all just for your page. - Hello Silence is Golden,
- If you are able, delete all images uploaded by GameFace42 and previously used on User:GameFace42. They are no longer required. I shall clean up any broken / missing links on User:GameFace42 in due course. Ta. GameFace42 (talk) 19:02, 6 October 2017 (UTC)
-
- I've marked them all for deletion, except for "Person of Misrule". The others I found as art for console achievements/trophies, but there are no Jester's Festival console achievements, only in-game ones, and yours is the best quality I can find. Unused User ImageEdit
Hello. A few months ago, I proposed the deletion of one or more of your user images because they are not used anywhere on the wiki. You can view them at Category:Marked for Deletion. Please respond here or remove the {{prod}} tag on the images you would like to keep, if you are using the image in a way that cannot be seen via the "What Links Here" page or plan to use the image within the next few months.
If you do not respond within a month, the images will be deleted, although you can request any particular image to be restored if needed later on. —Dillonn241 (talk) 23:37, 16 June 2024 (UTC)
