Dragonborn Released — Dec 04, 2012
The third official DLC for Skyrim, Dragonborn, has been released by Bethesda Softworks. Dragonborn will allow players to craft new armor, travel to Solstheim, and fly dragons. Dragonborn is available for download for 1600 Microsoft Points on Xbox LIVE. PC and PS3 players will have to wait until "early next year" to get their hands on the DLC, despite the original announcement that only the first two Skyrim add-ons would be subject to an exclusivity period.
The confident announcement that PS3 players will be getting the DLC is welcome news: "We're also happy to announce Dragonborn will be available on PS3 and PC early next year." This does not suggest that Dawnguard or Hearthfire are on their way, though it at least points to Bethesda having found a solution to the problems that have so far prevented DLC releases on the PS3.
