Dreynos Helvi is a Dark Elf Savant and a Kinsman of House Hlaalu. While he does own a house in town, in-game he can be found overseeing the house's affairs at the Hlaalu Council Manor in Andothren. While not initially trusting your abilities until you have completed a number of duties for Nalvyna Balen, he will ultimately provide you with a number of quests as part of Andothren's House Hlaalu questline. Businesslike and with an eye to ensuring House Hlaalu's profits, he has little patience for those who interrupt the commerce of the city and its surrounds - for instance, firing Orblos if his thieving is revealed during Theft from Above, investigating the disappearance of The Missing Merchant, sending you to get a caravan released during Caravan Ransom, and requesting that you break a miners' strike during Remnants of Resdayn. Dreynos also seems to be trusted as a neutral arbitrator - it is he who organises the vote of House Hlaalu notables during the events of The Hearing.
Dreynos additionally can provide training services, in Mercantile, Speechcraft and Short Blade - and offers such training to anyone with the means to pay him.
