Shadowcloak invisibility bugEdit

This has been marked as a question that needs to be answered.

The effect has supposedly worn of, because it says in the active effects menu that the effect has worn off but I still turn invisible in sneak mode. Anyone know why? — Unsigned comment by 99.33.214.19 (talk) on 7 April 2012

I don't know what causes it, but I'm having the same issue. What's even weirder is that I don't even have the Agent of Stealth power any more - I switched to Nightingale Subterfuge (frenzy). I didn't notice immediately, so I'm not sure I've had the issue all along, but I've tried waiting, moving through a loading door to another area, exiting the game completely then reloading, and casting my subterfuge power, but I still turn invisible whenever I crouch. do either of you have the shadow warrior perk in sneak tree? not that that should affect it but if both of you do..~~ — Unsigned comment by 24.38.235.96 (talk) at 16:19 on 9 July 2012
Just had this bug occur to me after I had activated the power while already in sneak mode. What ended up resolving the persistent effect was to cast the power while in sneak mode again when it next becomes available, and not exiting sneak mode or interacting with anything for the duration of the effect timer. I believe this allowed the bugged effect to negate itself. Tested this a few times with a few savegames, but I can't claim that this will work for everyone. Hope this helps, 2 and a half years later! :P -Deltahost (talk) 10:46, 26 October 2014 (GMT)

AbilitiesEdit

They're not powers. Why are they listed here? Shouldn't they have their own page? There are certainly enough of them. --Morrolan (talk) 20:24, 16 August 2013 (GMT)

Unfathomable Depths - Ancient Knowledge Still Bugged?Edit

I just ran through this on a new (since last patch) character. Before I activated the Lexicon I checked my AC - Dwarven was 40, Steel Plate was 48. I was wearing the Steel Plate. After, Dwarven was still 40 but Steel Plate jumped to 59. I forgot to save first and the Dwarven Armor was too many cell loads away before I caught this. Could anyone confirm? (PS3 - Latest Patch - No Mods - No DLC) Thanks Philbert (talk) 04:31, 1 September 2013 (GMT)

Looks like you're right. From what I can see in the CK, it seems they've applied the 25% bonus to everything except Dwarven Armor. Robin Hood  (talk) 05:57, 1 September 2013 (GMT)
Thanks Robin Hood for the confirm. I thought something looked odd :) Philbert (talk) 12:58, 1 September 2013 (GMT)
What about the bonus to smithing? Is that active all the time, only while wearing Dwarven Armor, or only when NOT wearing Dwarven Armor? Also does it mean just the cuirass, or does it have to be a full set of armor? — Unsigned comment by 209.103.202.55 (talk) 17:21, 4 April 2013 (GMT)
I believe the two are independent of each other, the smithing bonus is a permanent buff that is completely unrelated to the armor bonus. --AKB Talk Cont Mail 00:52, 5 April 2014 (GMT)

What's sad is that Bethesda has some sort of mental block apparently when it comes to fixing AK. Ebonarm (talk) 23:04, 3 May 2014 (GMT)

Sailor's ReposeEdit

A recent edit to Skyrim:Quest Timing claims that the Sailor's Repose ability also increases armor enchantments. Although I see no evidence of this, Restoration effects can do unusual things, so it seems possible. Can anyone verify this? --Xyzzy Talk 14:33, 29 March 2015 (GMT)

I'm pretty sure the user who made that edit just assumed it worked like the Fortify Restoration alchemy effect. That's actually a reasonable suspicion, but the CK and limited in-game testing show that Sailor's Repose works just like Regeneration: it only boosts things with keyword MagicRestoreHealth, and only healing spells have that keyword. With or without the USKP. — Lid-Mop (talk) 18:13, 29 March 2015 (GMT)
I'd missed that earlier, but it looks like you're right. Robin Hood  (talk) 01:05, 30 March 2015 (GMT)

Standing Stone abilitiesEdit

Why is it that the greater powers from standing stones are listed under their respective category while abilities aren't? Their spell IDs aren't listed at Standing Stones either which is pretty inconvenient. 75.163.189.228 03:41, 30 September 2015 (UTC)

Agent of Mara / DibellaEdit

Someone undid my edit for not being able to be an agent of both Mara and Dibella simultaneously. I had Mara, then when I got Dibella the Mara disappeared. I'm using latest version of unofficial patch. Anyone else have comments on this? Zojj (talk) 05:50, 25 November 2015 (UTC)

I'm not the one who removed it, but off-hand, I don't see anything in the game data that would prevent you from having the two simultaneously, nor is there anything documented in the USKP fix list about any changes to them. I've already got Agent of Mara in my current game; I'll try to get Agent of Dibella later today and see what happens. Robin Hood  (talk) 16:03, 25 November 2015 (UTC)
I think to recall seeing both agent-effects in my active effects menu, though with an older version of the USKP. -- SarthesArai Talk 16:37, 25 November 2015 (UTC)
I have both effects active right now. Agent of Mara is listed as Resist Magic in SkyUI, with Agent of Mara as the source of the effect...don't remember if it's listed the same way or not in the traditional UI. Robin Hood  (talk) 18:01, 25 November 2015 (UTC)
Confirmed same on the traditional UI. Luke1138 (talk) 23:59, 26 November 2015 (UTC)
Thanks guys I retract this, the two effects are listed differently on the screen, was expecting to see them together. Yeah you can have both. Zojj (talk) 05:04, 1 December 2015 (UTC)

Gift of GabEdit

Someone erased the addition of The Gift of Gab. I don't understand why, it is there in the game, broken and fixed by UKSP. Even if this site is dominated by purists, this ability that most players have access to should be listed somehow. Zojj (talk) 05:57, 25 November 2015 (UTC)

Whenever possible, we try to list information only in one place. For USKP fixes, we also normally list those changes only in the "Bugs" section, all the more so if it involves an addition to the game that cannot be accessed in any way by those without the USKP. So in this case, the power is mentioned only on the Tending the Flames page. Robin Hood  (talk) 15:32, 25 November 2015 (UTC)

Nightingale Subterfuge level max?Edit

Does the Nightingale Subterfuge have a max level?, because I used it on Borri and it worked on him just fine.Werewolfvampirre (talk) 03:57, 23 September 2018 (UTC)

Ring of Hircine and Beast Power linkEdit

the ring of hircine power and beast form power links to the werewolf page. I would assume it should link to the lycanthropy page that details player lycanthropy considering the werewolf page doesn't even mention the ROH and states it's meant for Werewolf NPCs. Thanks.
