Undead Ayleid Wights appear in Skyrim within the ruins of Rielle and differ from Draugr in several respects. They come in two varieties, Wights and Wight Lords. While they lack the power of the Thu'um which higher-level Nord undead have access to, some Wights also use frost magic in combat. Wights are less talkative than Draugr, and hit harder in combat since even the lower-level Wights use Elven weapons, along with matching shields if the weapon is one-handed. Unlike Thalmor Soldiers which only use one-handed weapons, Wights also come in two-handed specialist varieties.
Similar to their appearance in Blades, Wight Lords wear distinctive horned helmets of moonstone that differ greatly from the avian-themed helms used by the Altmer in the present day.
Some Wight Lords are exclusively mages, casting Frost magic and having no melee weapons. However, their Frost Atronachs and melee-class fellow undead can make up for this weakness.
Wights are level 30. However, they possess perks that greatly increase their physical damage output, making them incredibly dangerous opponents who should be taken out as quickly as possible.
