Detailed WalkthroughEdit
This quest can be started by heading to the Mistveil Keep Barracks in Riften. Go inside and up to the second floor. In one of the corners find a dresser with Guard's Dossier: Antonius atop of it; once it has been read, it will start the quest.
The next destination is Cragslane Cavern located just off the road between Riften and Windhelm, North of Shor's Stone and West of Ansilvund. The entrance has a Bouncer and a couple of Pit wolves in cages. Defeat them and go inside. Further in find the Pit Wolf fighting arena. Fight off the various titled foes before finding the corpse of Antonius who is already dead. Loot his body to find the "Antonius' Note" and read it. It indicates that as a gambler he incurred some debts and sold this unique armor to a collector in Riften.
Next head back to Riften and inside the Bee and Barb tavern. There it's easy to spot the different NPC as a patron named "The Collector". There are a few options at this point however they all result in the same outcome. Either persuade or intimidate her into "leaving the city's protection" or purchase it right then and there. Once she leaves Riften you can try to more safely kill her or pick it from her but in any case you'll only get the armor set. Best to save some money though so choose any method other than straight up buying it!

After some effort, I managed to get the custom armor from the collector. |
- The following empty quest stages were omitted from the table: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 100.
- Any text displayed in angle brackets (e.g.,
<Alias=LocationHold>) is dynamically set by the Radiant Quest system, and will be filled in with the appropriate word(s) when seen in game. - Not all Journal Entries may appear in your journal; which entries appear and which entries do not depends on the manner in which the quest is done.
- Stages are not always in order of progress. This is usually the case with quests that have multiple possible outcomes or quests where certain tasks may be done in any order. Some stages may therefore repeat objectives seen in other stages.
- If an entry is marked as "Finishes Quest" it means the quest disappears from the Active Quest list, but you may still receive new entries for that quest.
- On the PC, it is possible to use the console to advance through the quest by entering
setstage ccBGSSSE055_Quest stage, wherestageis the number of the stage you wish to complete. It is not possible to un-complete (i.e. go back) quest stages, but it is possible to clear all stages of the quest usingresetquest ccBGSSSE055_Quest.
