Yahgrondu is a red dragon found in Zazaradi's Quarry and Mine. You are sent by Nahfahlaar to find him, as Yahgrondu has sworn an inviolable oath to him. Yahgrondu will be an important ally in the struggle against Laatvulon.

Quest-Related EventsEdit
When you and Aeliah Renmus finally find Yahgrondu, Laatvulon is trying to convince Yahgrondu to swear his allegiance to Laatvulon and his cult.
- Laatvulon: "Join me, brother. My master's power is limitless and he will share it with his devoted."
- Yahgrondu: "I will die before I bow to you or your master, Laatvulon."
- Laatvulon: "If you insist."
- Aeliah Renmus: "Laatvulon! And the other Dragon ... is that Yahgrondu?"
Laatvulon kills Yahgrondu before you can reach him. When he notices your intrusion, Laatvulon commands Ra'khajin to raise Yahgrondu's corpse. You must kill Yahgrondu to progress. Two New Moon Pyromancers and a New Moon Dreadnaught accompany him in the beginning of the fight.
- Ra'khajin: "Persistent fools! Soon all of Elsweyr will bow to my master. You will serve Laatvulon—if not in life, then in death!"
Skills and AbilitiesEdit
- Bite
- A melee attack that causes bleeding.
- Chomp
- A charged-up melee attack inflicting higher damage and stunning you. This can be block to reduce the damage and negate the stun.
- Wing Thrash
- Standing near Yahgrondu's wings causes him to swat at you with them, dealing damage and knocking you away.
- Sweeping Breath
- Yahgrondu sprays fire in a curved path in the arena, indicated by a conal AoE.
- Unrelenting Force
- Yahgrondu shouts in a direction, dealing damage and knocking away those in the path, indicated by a conal AoE.
- Flame Spout
- Yahgrondu raises his head to the sky and spits out four fireballs that land in the arena, creating large pools of lingering flames, indicated by circular AoEs.
