The Unstable Construct is a charged Dwarven Sphere found in The Guardian's Skull of Volenfell, accompanied by four Dwarven spiders. There is a shut off valve behind it, opening into a room to a release lever.

Skills and AbilitiesEdit

AS a boss type enemy, Unstable Construct is immune to all crowd control effects.

Blade
A basic melee attack that does minor physical damage.
Dart
A basic ranged attack that does minor physical damage.
Steam Wall
A heavy melee attack that does moderate physical damage. This attack should be blocked or dodged if possible.
Ricochet Wave
The boss charges up and releases a shockwave in front of itself dealing moderate flame damage as indicated by a red circle. This can be interrupted or simply avoided.
Explosive Bolt
The boss shoots a flaming arrow at a player causing them to explode after a moment as indicated by a red circle around themselves. The player affected should move away from teammates to reduce damage dealt.

This boss is associated with several achievements.

Achievement Points Description
   Volenfell Conqueror 15 Complete Veteran Volenfell by defeating the Desert Lion, Quintus Verres and the Monstrous Gargoyle, Boilbite, Tremorscale, the Unstable Construct, and the Guardian Council.
   Volenfell Survivor 50 Defeat the Desert Lion, Quintus Verres and the Monstrous Gargoyle, Boilbite, Tremorscale, the Unstable Construct, and the Guardian Council in Veteran Volenfell, without suffering a group member death.
   Volenfell Assassin 50 Defeat the Desert Lion, Quintus Verres and the Monstrous Gargoyle, Boilbite, Tremorscale, the Unstable Construct, and the Guardian Council in Veteran Volenfell within twenty minutes of starting the dungeon. Timer starts when players engage the first group of treasure hunters.
