Online:Traveler (Harrowstorms)

< Elder Scrolls Online: People

When a Harrowstorm location in Western Skyrim, Blackreach: Greymoor Caverns or the Reach is inactive, three travelers will spawn around a campfire in the middle of the ritual site. They will be killed when the Harrowstorm spawns, and will eventually respawn after it has been completed.

They will say one of the following lines:

"I'd welcome some trouble right about now. I'm bored to tears."
"They say Reachmen are prowling around here. Let them come."

Orc travelers have dialogue separate from Dark Elves and Nords.

"Pfft, the Reach is nothing compared to Wrothgar."
"Reachmen aren't so different from Orcs. Gotta fight for everything we have."

"Keep your gods close and you have nothing to fear."

Breton Tracker Traveler

The third traveler is a tracker with a dagger warming themselves by the campfire.

DialogueEdit

They will say one of the following lines:

"I feel exposed out here. Like we're being watched."
"I've heard some unsettling rumors, as if there are any other kind out here."
"Have you been through here before? Might explain the tracks I've found."

ConversationsEdit

When they first appear you may hear them having a conversation.

Traveler (Warrior): "You put too much stock in rumors that are old wives' tales."
Traveler (Tracker): "I don't think we're the first to camp here. Lots of fresh tracks."
Traveler (Priest): "Allow yourself some rest. The Divines are watching over us."

They will also notice when their surroundings begin to change just as a harrowstorm ritual is about to begin.

Traveler (Warrior): "It's too quiet. I came out here for adventure, not a leisure hike."
Traveler (Tracker): "I think the clouds are turning. We should prepare for a stormy night."
Traveler (Priest): "Have a little faith. The Divines won't lead us astray."
Traveler (Warrior): "What's all this scratching in the dirt? Reachmen?"

By now the sky has darkened and there is a red haze around.

Traveler (Warrior): "Who's afraid of some dark clouds?"
Traveler (Tracker): "The skies are full of dark clouds lately. I don't like it."
<Matron Jagiska's projection appears.>
Traveler: "I fear no witch!"
Traveler: "They're conjuring something!"

The travelers are killed suddenly, speared by spikes from the ground. The ritual has begun.
