Cooking Fire
The Withered Rose is a hostel on the Gold Coast, located northwest of Anvil.
It is run by Ladia Rose and her daughter Lucinia. The hostel has a cellar locked with a simple lock. Beneath the inn lies a smuggler tunnel, which leads to the nearby Jarol Estate, providing an alternative way into the estate. According to a letter found in the cellar, the tunnels have been used for smuggling goods in and out of Anvil for quite some time. Hostile smugglers can be seen operating out of the hostel's docks in broad daylight.
You'll find a cat on the well out front. A horse dwells in the nearby barn, and two goats graze nearby. Outside the hostel is a dock, which is crawling with hostile Smugglers. Among them is the Off-Key Outlaw, who as the name suggests, is playing off-key music.
The containers within the building are owned. The smuggler tunnels are accessible via the trap door to the hostel cellar beneath the stairs in the inn, which is protected by a simple lock. A cooking fire is located in the fireplace behind the counter where Ladia is sweeping. Behind her is a note, Needful Things.
